Breast Augmentation for a 16-Year-Old?

Jun 5, 2018 | Breast, Breast Augmentation

If you are at least 18 years old, contact Dr. Michael Workman’s office today to find out if you’re a candidate for breast augmentation.

Why Should I Wait Until I’m 18?

One of the questions I frequently get asked is “I’m 16 years-old is it safe to have a breast augmentation?” While it’s probably safe it’s probably not a good idea to do so until you’re at least 18.

The reason for this is we know that your breasts will oftentimes continue to develop up until the age of 20 or 22. I think most surgeons would agree that unless you have a congenital deformity or have had a tumor of some sort, you’re probably better off to wait until at least 18.

Sorry to have to tell you that, but I think it’s really the best thing to do that you wait until 18.
