Dawn

Dawn is our office manager and patient coordinator. She has over fifteen years of experience in the medical field.

Dawn enjoys the challenges of plastic surgery and strives to make each patient comfortable and at ease.

Dawn sees patients at the initial visit and answers questions regarding fees, financing and scheduling.

Dawn and her husband are very busy participating in various activities with their four children. Dawn enjoys biking, gardening and spending family times at their beach house.

Kay

Kay has recently moved back into the Vancouver area and is very excited to resume working for Dr. Workman again. Kay had previously worked for Dr Workman in 1997 and 1998. As the head receptionist, Kay works personally with each plastic surgery patient scheduling appointments to fit the patient's busy lives whenever possible. She is the first face you will see, and the last when you leave. Her bright personality and pleasant demeanor are a welcome addition to our highly skilled plastic surgery staff.

Kay enjoys reading, shopping and travel. She and her husband have two children. They are busy with wedding plans for their daughter. Their son, a freshman in college, will be playing basketball. Kay and her husband expect to spend a good deal of time courtside.

Julia

Julia is an LPN and executive assistant to Dr. Workman. Julia attended Lower Columbia College for her nursing licensure. Julia is trained in all areas of patient care and relations. She has extensive experience in med-surgical patient care, orthopedic, geriatrics, quad and paraplegia, vent unit, CCU, and ER. She has also been director of resident services, director of nursing rehabilitation and restorative services, resident care manager in acute care/med-surgical, and long-term care.

In addition to nursing duties Julia works on special projects for Dr. Workman including public relations and marketing.

Julia fills in wherever in the office or surgery center she may be needed. You will see Julia at times performing pre-operative screening exams during consultations and post-operative exams.

As needed Julia works in the surgery center as a circulating nurse, or pre-operative nurse.

Julia counts among her blessings a thirteen- year old son Dustin, her lovely daughter April and son in law Severine, and their new son, Connor.

Cathy

Cathy is our medical administrator. She has a strong background in medical office and office procedures. Her background includes real estate, restaurant ownership, medical office and office management.

She also fills in for Dawn as patient coordinator as needed. She enjoys working with our plastic surgery patients and helping them with any questions or concerns that they might have. Cathy enjoys working in an environment that is meaningful with a fun and friendly staff. She believes Dr. Workman's practice meets this criterion. On her own time she enjoys spending it with her husband Damon and their two beautiful daughters Kayla and Kelsie.

Cathy and Damon together have been coaching the girls' basketball teams for five years. She enjoys traveling, tennis, piano and teaching her daughters the fine art of shopping.

Wendy

Wendy is a nationally certified Surgical Technologist. She graduated from Mount Hood Community College in 1995. Wendy has worked in our Medicare certified surgery center since the inception of the Center in 1998. In addition to her surgical duties Wendy is also the Director of Surgical Services for the Surgery Center.

Wendy has a daughter in high school. She and her husband enjoy riding their Harleys together.

Christine

Christine, RN, BSN, RNFA, CNOR. Her bachelor's degree is from Seattle Pacific University. Christine has worked for Dr. Workman since 2001. She has worked in both clinical and surgical settings including ENT. Christine is a highly skilled circulating nurse and first assist to Dr. Workman in the plastic surgery operating room. She also assists in the recovery room when needed.

Christine and her husband have twin sons. They keep very busy with motorcycles, camping and other outdoor family activities.

Linda

Linda, RN, CNOR, is a Certified Nurse of the Operating Room. She has been an active member of the local Association of Operating Room Nurses since 1970, the year of her graduation. She has been a certified operating room nurse since 1980. Linda does the preoperative Exams on the surgery days, as well as circulate in the operating room or scrub for surgery as needed.

Linda worked for 28 years at Good Samaritan Hospital in Portland, Oregon. She has held positions from staff nurse to assistant director in charge of open heart, neuro and vascular surgery. Linda has also worked as an out patient nurse for St. Vincent's Hospital in Portland, Oregon, Southwest Washington Regional Surgery Center and the Center for Specialty Surgery. Linda was welcomed to our staff in August of 2004.

Linda enjoys gardening, reading, hiking in addition to golfing and traveling with her husband. Linda and her husband also enjoy watching their older grandchildren's sports and activities as well as watching the grandbabies grow.

Renate

Renate is a registered nurse who graduated from Rogers State University in Oklahoma in 1999.

She has worked as a staff nurse and charge nurse in a medical surgical unit specializing in kidney disease.

She has worked very closely with both kidney donors and recipients. Renate is also a staff nurse in labor and delivery at Southwest Washington Medical Center.

Renate is our recovery room nurse. She welcomes the opportunity to work one on one teaching plastic surgery patients and family members to help promote a safe and a speedy recovery.

Renate and her husband have six children and two wonderful grandchildren. She enjoys gardening, needlework and traveling with her husband.
